The U6 light rail serves Flughafen/Messe, about a 5-minute walk from the terminals. It runs every 10 minutes during peak hours. Airport tickets for S-Bahn, light rail and regional buses are available from terminal ticket machines or through the relevant operators’ apps.

The Stuttgart Airport Bus Terminal is between Flughafenstraße and Terminal 4, beneath the P14 car park. Platforms 1–3 serve local and regional services; platforms 4–18 serve long-distance coaches and occasional services. The bus terminal and S-Bahn station are accessible to all.
